Keep your love alive- how to keep the joy, passion and excitement in your marriage! Today starts a free 30 day series of tips on keeping your love alive in your marriage. Ben (my husband) and I will be posting for the next 30 days, stay tuned. Here is your first tip: Date night as often as possible, preferably once per week. Optimal choice is just the two of you, out of the house doing something you both love. We get that sometimes this isn't possible, so find ways and get creative! When I was very sick and pregnant, I put a sign on our bedroom door that said something like "Happy date night, I love you" we did a truth or dare game and talked about dreams and spent one on one time together. You can do this, we believe in you!

I have learned a lot of energy healing modalities and have gained more insight in order to serve you better.  One of the things that I have learned about is generational healing.  Many things can be passed down energetically to us.  A huge one I have been working on with my clients is co-dependancy.  Most people I have tested for this had this passed down anywhere from 15-20 generations back.  Co-dependancy is something that keeps us in unhealthy relationships or gets us into unhealthy relationships.  It can trap us in addiction.  I encourage you today on your road to healthier relationships to release your generational co-dependency if you struggle with this.  Use EFT or whatever energy modality you prefer.  Hugs!

Relationship tip of the day

Today, focus on being humble, teachable and willing.  xoxo

My favorite concealer right now!

My favorite concealer right now:
Maracuja Creaseless concealer!
I have had a really hard time finding a concealer that will stay put, cover my dark circles and not irritate my eyes.  I love this one!  Not only has it done those things, but I love that it is paraben free, no synthetic fragrances and the maracuja oil has anti-aging properties and is rich in vitamin c :)  Gotta love that!  I found mine at Ulta, but it's available on multiple sites online.  Remember to use your ring finger and pat around the eye as the skin is delicate.  Enjoy! xoxo

Trauma help testimonial

I received this amazing testimonial from a dear client, if you are suffering from being assaulted, violated or attacked...there is hope to release this from your life forever.  If you have stuffed it down or it is presenting itself in other areas- fear of intimacy, lack of trust, physical problems etc. we can together improve your life.  I would love to help!

What can I say about Karina and her EFT. Words do not express my gratitude and amazement at this process. I was assaulted as a young woman and even though I was functioning as normal, I still carried with me some of the pain and guilt I felt because of this series of incidents. We went through the steps, and to be honest, I was skeptical. I wondered how tapping could possibly help me let go of this nightmare that I held onto for so many years. By the end of my session, I felt whole. I haven't felt that feeling in years. My husband noticed a difference right away.

EFT is more than just the physical act of tapping. It is about letting go and forgiving yourself for making mistakes. There is work, trust and honesty that need to happen in a session. Karina brings half of that, but you need to be the other half. As long as you recognize your own role in healing yourself, you can't help but be successful in this. I am so ready for my next session! Love you Karina.

My favorite skin care product right now...

Argan oil!  I love the http://www.amazon.com/Acure-Organics-Argan-Facial-Organic/dp/B004DTQ9L8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1340005432&sr=8-1&keywords=acure+argan+oil
Enjoy!  My friend Nikki also sells it: https://www.facebook.com/#!/VitalRadiance

Here are some benefits of Argan oil (taken from http://www.naturalnews.com/028265_argan_oil_remedies.html)

Healing and Protecting

The active substances called triterpenoids that occur in Argan Oil offer amazing skin protection benefits. These include tissue healing (scars), anti-inflammatory, sun-protective and disinfectant properties.

The oil contains 80% unsaturated fatty acids and is more resistant to oxidation than olive oil. Argan oil also contains 0.8% unsaponifiables (a large group of compounds also known as plant sterols or sterolins). Sterolins improve skin metabolism, reduce inflammation and promote excellent moisture retention.

Anti-aging

Argan is considered an effective anti-aging oil due to properties such as the high levels of vitamin E /tocopherols (anti-oxidants help neutralise free radical damage, which is important for skin exposed to polluted Western environments) and saponins (skin-softening agents). Besides cooling and soothing inflammation, it is also reputed to help reduce wrinkles by restoring the skin`s hydro-lipid layer.

Medicinal Properties

  • Argan oil contains rare plant sterols (schottenol and spinasterol), not found in other oils. It is believed that these phytosterols are unique in their combination and that there are no other vegetable oils with a comparable phytosterol composition. In general phytosterols reduce inflammation and help block cholesterol absorption from the intestines. They also show anti-cancer properties.
  • Argan oil facilitates digestion by increasing the concentration of pepsin in the gastric juice. It contains flavonoids that act as a natural anti-inflammatory both internally and externally.
  • The oil is considered highly beneficial for arthritic or rheumatic conditions.
  • It is helpful for lowering cholesterol levels, stimulating circulation and strengthening the body`s natural immunity.
  • It is used to soothe skin ailments like chickenpox, acne, psoriasis, and dry eczema. It is also used to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy.
  • Traditionally Argan oil is also reputed to have aphrodisiac and tonic properties.
